CVets Homepage
Cornwall Veterinary Emergency Treatment Service (CVets) provides out of hours emergency cover for small animal patients when your normal daytime veterinary service is closed.
It was formed in 2007 by a group of local veterinary surgeons to provide a true overnight emergency clinic for their patients.
We cover for a number of practices in Mid and West Cornwall and we are located on the A390 approx half mile from the Chiverton cross roundabout. We are approximately 25 minutes from Penzance in the West and the same time away from Bodmin in the East.
We are open from 6.30pm until 8.30am weeknights and 12.30pm Saturday until 8.30am Monday.
What do I do if I think my pet may need veterinary attention?
Please get in touch either by phoning your own Veterinary Practice or call us on 01872 560952.
We can arrange to see you at a mutually convenient time. We only request that you call so as to ensure we are fully prepared for your pet.
What if I am on holiday?
We understand how stressful it is when your pet becomes sick or injured whilst you are away from your normal veterinary practice.
At CVETS we will be happy to provide advice and treatment during our opening hours. If your pet requires ongoing treatment whilst you are visiting we will liase with the closest subscribing veterinary practice to where you are staying and if required arrange transport to the practice with Animals At Home pet ambulance as part of our service.
Disability Access
Please let one of our team know if you require any special assistance when visiting the practice.
Access to our practice is via a ramp for easy wheelchair and buggy/pram access. Our consulting room and patient toilet are both on the ground floor and accessible by wheelchair.
